what is a postpartum doula?

The dictionary describes a doula as “a professional who provides support and assistance to individuals or a family.” Adding a baby to the family can be a time filled with so much joy and excitement! Many new parents describe this as a time of uncertainty as well. As a parent myself I understand this first hand. My job is to make your job as a new parent easier. More joyful, more restful, more peaceful. Whether this is your first baby or not. Parents who already have children can also benefit from hiring a PP Doula! My assistance can allow for more time spent getting to know this new family member. Or free you up to connect with your older child during this time of transition.

In-person doula services

$35 per hour for a minimum of 10 days for at least 2 hours each day.* A one time, nonrefundable retainer fee of $200 is required before starting services. The retainer fee also covers texting support during working hours for the duration of services.

*Additional days can be added on. 10 days is the minimum.

OVERNIGHT doula services

$35 an hour, 8 hour minimum. One night a week maximum per client. Overnight care can be beneficial for parents who are needing uninterrupted rest. You head to bed while I stay up with baby to feed, diaper, and help baby get back to sleep during the night. Allowing parents to sleep through the night.
