Hi, I’m Cali sims.

I’m so glad you’re here! Allow me to introduce myself. I’m a wife, mother of four, and a disciple of Jesus Christ. I have lived in Mississippi my entire life, though I’ve lived in multiple different parts. I love spending time outdoors in nature! Being able to do that along side my kiddos has only served to increase that love. We all love animals around here! I have probably asked for almost every one of them that you can think of (and a few you might not even know). One of my favorite things to do outside is ride my horse.

My husband is a pastor and I enjoy serving our church family along side of him.

My love and passion for all things birth and baby related came after the birth of our first child. My husband I attended a birth class because we were interested in trying for a natural birth. We learned so much! I enjoyed all of it and felt very prepared. With the help of my amazing husband and birth doula I had a wonderful birth experience. My postpartum experience was nothing less because of the amazing people surrounding me. And the rest, as they say is history.

I’ve come to realize that not everyone has that amazing support system around them. How very different might my postpartum experience have been had I not had the love and support that I did? A woman’s chances of developing postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety are greatly increased when she feels unsupported. That’s where I come in! I would be honored to be a part of that support system! To be able to assist you and your family in getting acquainted with this new member of the family. To allow mom and dad to rest and recover. To provide help with things like meals, laundry, feeding, holding baby while you nap or shower, or simply being there to listen, answering questions you really shouldn’t be googling ;). Postpartum care has looked a little different with each and every client because my job is to make this new season of life the best that it can be for you and your family. Whatever that looks like depends on what you need that day.
